Abama Golf is one element of the luxury Abama resort located in the South West of the Canary Island Tenerife. The course offers stunning views stretching out over the Atlantic Ocean and on a clear day over to the neighbouring island of La Gomera.
Designed by legendary course architect Dave Thomas (who also created the Belfry in the UK), The golf course is a tactically challenging, meandering and diverse proposition! Considered in pristine condition year round, with 22 lakes, several well positioned marble sand bunkers and immense undulating greens. The design of the course fits perfectly into the local areas topography and geology, meaning a vast range of playing shots from just 78 metres above sea level up to over 320 metres.
Abama is a golf course designed to be enjoyed by golfers of all levels and skillsets, different tee boxes mix up the lengths required. The club House is built in the same style as the hotel and Villas in the resort, with a fantastic restaurant & bar, well stocked pro shop, locker rooms and excellent 3 hole practice course, driving range and large 12-acre practice area with putting green.
