Not many golf courses can claim to offer both day and night tee times to their guests. Carya Golf Club is notable for its floodlight features, which allows golfers to play this sensational course both in the day and at night!Â
Opened in 2008, this course was the first of its kind in Europe. It was designed by Thomson Perrett & Lobb and features 18 holes and 6,570 metres worth of pristine playing surface.Â
The well kept course undergoes annual closures to facilitate new seeding efforts and hollow core maintenance. This ensures that the bent and Bermuda grass surfaces are as healthy and as playable as possible the whole year round.Â
In terms of vegetation, eucalyptus and pine trees line several of the greens. An intimidating sand ridge also lines the course, which provides further hazards for golfers. It’s quite a difficult course, with plenty of opportunities for expert golfers to test their golfing strategies and higher handicappers to attempt and survive!
The 6th hole is the course’s signature, which also happens to be the longest golf hole in the whole of Turkey at 567 metres. This hole is known as the Wall and features a sloping fairway, however the signature hole is definitely the par 4 16th.Â
