El Valle Golf Course was designed by Jack Nicklaus Design team and opened in 2007, it is rapidly becoming known as one of the finest golf experiences in Murcia and is now featured on the top 100 courses! The layout features a medium length par 71 golf course set amongst a beautiful natural desert valley. The course features a fantastic mixture of holes, generous fairways, elevated tee positions, challenging par 3s and several holes that require precision and the perfect club selection. El Valle puts a premium on accuracy rather than power, and favours the intelligent player who can remain calm under pressure and execute precision shots.
This beautiful course is surrounded by stunning countryside near Banos Y Mendigo, with a breathtaking backdrop of the Murcian Mountains and year round warm sunshine. The desert style plantings suggest you are in more of an Arizona environment than Iberia! Although there’s no water hazards on the front 9, golfers must be wary of many ponds on the back 9, a true challenge to finish the round with a decent score.
The course is located just 25 minutes from the city of Murcia and surrounded by several accommodation options, the neighbouring golf resort of Altaona is only 10 minutes away for anyone wanting to play a few different rounds in the area. The clubhouse features a gourmet restaurant and bar, the resort also features a local supermarket and full 24/7 security within the gated community. Gym, sports facilities and community pools make El Valle a perfect choice for family getaways with sensational golf options!
