The course was designed by the Australian former professional golfer-turned-entrepreneur, Greg Norman. This was the first continental Europe course to be designed by Norman.
The 9-hole course can be found a short walk away from the clubhouse. If you don’t feel like walking, buggies are available. Each hole has two teeing options, which introduces some diversity to the course. To lengthen your game, you could go around the course twice and use the second tee option the second time around.
The course can be defined by its natural slope, complicated bunkers, and narrowness, three aspects that make this a fun and entertaining course to play. It’s looked after by the same green keepers that look after the large, 18-hole courses that can be found nearby. This guarantees that the grass quality is at its best the whole year round.
There’s also an 18-hole pitch-and-putt at Valles, which features more tree hazards than the main golf course.
