Hacienda Riquelme is located just 30 minutes outside the bustling city of Murcia. The course is built to championship standards with the 18 hole, par 72, 6,991 yard Jack Nicklaus designed course featuring 4 sets of tees per hole, presenting challenges to all levels of golfer. It has a wide range of topographic elevations and uses the natural contours of the land to provide an exceptional golfing experience. The fairways of Hacienda Riquelme run between olive trees, wild flowers and 5 different lakes. They are sown with the latest variety of paspalum grass which has a high saline tolerance and means the grass stays in top condition with minimal watering.
The club and resort all comes together around a late 19th Century, colonial-style country house. It was originally owned by the Riquelme Family, which gives the course its name. The clubhouse is notoriously friendly and contains a well stocked pro shop, excellent practice facilities are also available.
