Meloneras Golf by Lopesan is a course designed to demand a high technical level from the player. Created by award-winning architect Ron Kirby, it offers a course of gradual difficulty, a top 10 course that’s adapted to players of different handicaps. For example, holes 14 and 16, which require precision because the ball must cross a ravine. Located in the south of the island of Gran Canaria, very close to the tourist center of Maspalomas, it is a golf course for the player looking to push their ability to the limit.
Meloneras Golf Course is located in the Bay of Meloneras on the Southern coast of Gran Canaria. The course was created by award-winning architect Ron Kirby and is designed to suit low handicappers and more technically skilled golfers. The course is renowned for its varied 18 holes, the first 9 with magnificent mountain views and second 9 showcasing beautiful sea views. Three of these second 9 are located on the coast itself creating a fantastic and memorable journey back to the clubhouse.
Each hole is provided with 4 different tee boxes, and the design of the course itself makes it suitable for any player regardless of their handicap and abilities. The course starts with an easier first few holes and gradually increases in difficulty. Meloneras offer fantastic services including buggy rental, golf academy and a fully stocked pro shop. The clubhouse features a top end bar and restaurant, valet service and locker room.
