Real Club de Golf de Tenerife was formed in 1932 and is thusly known as the second oldest golf club in the whole of Spain. Located in the Northeast of the Canary Island of Tenerife, it’s designers were all prestigious Spanish golfers of the era. Â
Winding its way between fields and fruit trees the course is perfectly integrated with the local topography and Canarian volcanic environment. The pedigree and age of the course is emphasised by the many well established mature trees found dotted amongst the pristine fairways. Topographically the course can be quite challenging with many ravines and dry stream beds coming into play on a number of holes. Use of a buggy is recommended due to the physically demanding course layout and the year round sunny climate creating mid to warm average temperatures.
Just a few minutes from Tenerife’s North Airport, the course is located just 20 minutes from the capital city of Santa Cruz de Tenerife offering nightlife, bars, restaurants and many different accommodation options.Â
