Saurines de la Torre is a pristine desert style course located equidistant from the cities of Murcia and Cartagena in the Southern Spanish region of Murcia. Inaugurated in 2011 this course has become a landmark of golf in the region and is rated in the top 50 courses of Spain.

Located between Balsicas and Roldán, the golf course at Saurines de la Torre is one of six Jack Nicklaus designed courses operating within a 40km radius in the Murcia region. Saurines de la Torre was designed in the style of a typical North American Desert course and was opened in 2011. The course is famous for its undulating fairways winding between sand dunes and impressive tricky greens, amongst strategically placed bunkers and a large central lake. The golf course is currently placed on 39th in the top 100 golf courses in Spain!
Saurines is now operated by UGOLF, a leading European golf course management company which looks after more than fifty Spanish and French golf facilities, including three in Murcia: Mar Menor, Hacienda del Alamo and Saurines de la Torre. This epic management company with years of experience guarantees a pristine golf environment and top level services throughout the course and facilities.Â
The Saurines course extends to a vast 6,473 metres providing ample challenge for the most professional low handicappers, although forward tees reduce the length to a more manageable 4,914 metres for amateur golfers. Holes of note include the Redan style par three 14th and the short par four 15th, which features a tricky raised green.
The course has a golf practice area which includes a warm-up net, two greens, an approach and chipping area and a bunker. As well as a well stocked pro shop and a friendly clubhouse with bar and restaurant.
Located perfectly equidistant from both the City of Murcia and Cartagena which are reachable in 30 minutes from the golf course. Alicante airport is just 1 hour 15 minutes away.
