Son Servera may be one of the oldest golf courses in the Balearics, but it remains one of the best. It first opened as a 9-hole course back in 1966. It remained untouched for nearly 50 years, until 2012 when holes 3-7 and 12-15 were added. Today this 6,050-metre course is a challenging but fairly accessible course for all levels of golfers to enjoy.
The natural Mediterranean vegetation proves to be the most challenging hazard throughout the course. Carob, olive, pine, and oak trees keep the course interesting, while the several water hazards add further difficulty.
Holes 3-7 present the greatest challenges, which lead golfers over hills, through pine woods, and around lakes. These holes are known collectively as the “Pine Trap” none of the other golf courses in the Balearics can compare to this stretch of holes.
However, high concentration is required throughout the entirety of the course. 6 of the 18 holes feature water, so perfect aim and application is also necessary to score well.
The brilliant panoramic views that can be found throughout this par-72 course make it difficult to pick a signature hole. However, 6 and 7 are generally regarded as the most picturesque due to the vegetation and vistas.

Son Servera Golf is located on the North Eastern coast of Mallorca just 1 hours drive from the capital of Palma de Mallorca.
