A Costa Blanca golf holiday isn’t complete without a visit to Vistabella Golf – especially if you’re holidaying with your whole family. Although this course features plenty of undulations, hazards, and dog legged holes, it’s not a difficult course, or at least it doesn’t have to be.
Each of the 18 holes comes with four different teeing options, meaning golfers of varying handicaps can get involved. Each hole presents players with different challenges, giving golfers a well-rounded golfing experience. Most of the holes are long, but doable for all.
Like many Costa Blanca golf courses, the Vistabella can be characterised by wide fairways, large greens, steep ascents, sharp declines, and raised bunkers. In terms of hazards, this 6,000-metre course has three separate lakes and is home to many trees and native Mediterranean bushes. The grass is Bermuda, which has been chosen as it grows at a much faster pace than other grass types during the summer. This keeps the ground playable throughout the year.
The 8th hole is the signature, which is a par-4, uphill, and relatively challenging compared to the other holes. This hole is picturesque thanks to the palm trees which surround it. This is followed by the 9th hole, another uphill challenge, with a slight dog legged curve.
This course can be found near Torrevieja and is worth visiting if you’re staying at one of the many nearby golf hotels in Costa Blanca.
Vistabella Golf is located just 50 minutes from the City of Alicante with a wealth of bars, restaurants and hotel options. The international Airport is just 40 minutes from the golf course providing a very convenient travel time. The beach resort of Torrevieja is just 25 minutes away with some stunning sandy beaches available for a relaxing getaway.
