Having first opened its doors in 1969, Las Brisas has since become a canvas where golfing history has been etched, hosting prestigious events such as the World Cup and the Spanish Open, triumphed by none other than the legendary Nick Faldo in 1987. Las Brisas can now be considered one of the top courses in the Marbella region.
What sets Las Brisas apart is not just its storied past but the strategic layout that challenges golfers of all skill levels. The course's compact design, particularly evident on the front nine where holes run parallel to each other, adds an element of intimacy to the playing experience. The landscape is punctuated with strategically placed bunkers, offering a visual feast while demanding a thoughtful approach from players.
Water, a defining feature of Las Brisas, manifests itself in ten artificial lakes fed by meandering streams. These water hazards create a picturesque setting but also pose a formidable challenge, requiring golfers to carefully navigate their shots to avoid the tranquil yet treacherous waters.
