The Greens and the tee positions at Gramacho make it a challenging yet rewarding course that offers a different experience each time it is played. With two pin positions and different tee, the course can be enjoyed by golfers of all skill levels and can also change depending on the tournament.
Gramacho golf course features several signature holes known for their beauty and challenge, but the 10th and 17th holes are considered the best of them. On the 10th, you play over a lake to an Island green that’s challenging enough in its own right.
The 17th is a dogleg left with two separate greens. Depending on which one is in play, you may find yourself having to fly and iron in over the water with precision to stand any chance of making par. Both holes offer a great chance to showcase your skills and make your round an even more memorable experience.
While Gramacho is an excellent course on its own, one of the best ways to experience all that it has to offer is to combine it with a round at Pestana Vale da Pinta, which is located on the same site. Vale da Pinta is a championship golf course designed by Ronald Fream and is considered as one of the best golf courses in the Algarve.
