Vale de Milho golf course is a 9-hole Par 3 golf course designed by Dave Thomas, who also designed The Belfry. Whilst Vale de Milho isn’t on the same level, it is still great for beginners and is an excellent option for high-handicap golfers looking for a golf course in the Algarve.
Holes range in distance from between 76-176, providing an opportunity to practice your mid-iron shots, as well as a few wedges into the green. It’s a great warm-up course for anyone that’s playing the more challenging courses during their trip.
Vale De Milho offers weekly membership deals for holidaymakers. Membership costs €80 per week and €150 for couples. If this is the only course that you want to play, it’s excellent value for money.
Vale de Milho golf course is located in Carvoeiro, 45km due west of the tourist hotspots of Vilamoura and 30km west of Albufeira.
